SIMA Science Solicitation Opportunity for NCAR Staff

The System for Integrated Modeling of the Atmosphere (SIMA) leadership team is seeking proposals from NCAR staff that focus on development and application of NCAR's SIMA. Notices of intent to propose are due on December 5, 2022, and full proposals are due January 12, 2023.

The primary goal of this solicitation is to enable cutting-edge and critical science through continued development of SIMA tools and capabilities, and it seeks applications that perform computationally-intensive simulations of non-hydrostatic atmosphere configurations of SIMA to address frontier science questions.
